Existing Application Exposure

In order to be able to expose your existing application, a mechanism needs to be in place to do this. Applications that are already service-oriented or built for AppServers are generally close to being ready for external exposure. Most of the work to be done to these will be in the area of security, ensuring against cross-site scripting, SQL injection and other potential security risks. There will also be a need to verify the performance of the portions of the existing application to be exposed to ensure that when the additional load is added, the application will be able to respond.
